                        1971 Triumph Daytona 500 T100R - $10,500.00 or bid on e-bay

Beautifully restored Vintage Triumph Museum Piece!
Personally I have never seen one quite this nice.
It is a joy to ride and has impressive power for a 500cc.
It's like stepping back in time.  Hard to believe that this is 48 years old!

Has matching VIN and engine numbers and a clean title as shown in the last picture.
Please watch the video and look at the many pictures.

This little gem needs nothing except to be ridden and shown off.
Look at the detailed pictures and you will see that there are no rust issues.
Maybe you want to spice up your garage or museum.
Maybe you want to be "cool"? Maybe you are already as Fonzie or James Dean "cool" as can be and just need to let it show!
Perhaps you want to relive your youth? Maybe you just love the looks and feel of a rare Sunday Cruiser like this?
If you win this on e-bay then I hope you will have as much fun as I have had riding, tinkering on it and taking pictures.
Please notice that there are 2 tiny chips in the left gas tank paint as pointed out in the picture with my fingers.
You might also see some glare that the camera caught but the rest of the paint is very nice.
The inside of the gas tank has never been lined. With a flash light it shows a very small amount of light rust.
The clear inline fuel filters are all that is needed but since it has never been lined then this would still be an option.
We filled the tank with ethanol free leaded gasoline to keep it stable and less likely that it will condense moisture.
For more information on storage you can read my website article called "Storage Warning" on this website.
The engine was gone through so it has new pistons, rings and a valve job.
As shown in the video it does not smoke and there are no leaks of any kind.
I also noticed that all the wiring is new and it has the Boyer electronic ignition system installed which makes it run much nicer and you never need to adjust or replace the points.

It was stored for a few years so I did the following:
1. checked the engine compression and it looks great at 165 and 170 psi.
2. rebuilt the carburetors using genuine Amal carburetor parts.
3. rinsed out the tank installed new fuel hose and clear fuel filters.
4. cleaned the air filters.
5. changed the oil using full synthetic 20/50.
6. checked the valve clearance and found them in spec.
7. checked and found that all the lights and gauges are working.
8. lubed the chain.
9. did a full inspection.
10. filled the tank with leaded gas that is ethanol free.

TITLE
AND
REGISTRATION  The registration is current through November 2019.
We have the clear title, shown in the last picture. I am licensed and bonded with the California DMV. I am also a licensed vehicle verifier. If you are in California then I will also collect the sales tax of 7.75% plus a documentation processing charge of $70.00. Plus the registration fee to be determined from the California DMV website at the date of sale. My buyers (you) never pay back fees or DMV registration penalties.
I will give you a temporary registration permit on the spot and your new registration will come to you in the mail. You will not stand in line at the DMV and there will be no surprises. If you are outside of California and you ship by common carrier then you will pay only the purchase price and I will hand you or mail you the title. I must have a copy of the shipping contract from the driver when picked up or a bill of lading.
Without proof of shipment via common carrier I would still need to collect the 7.75% sales tax.
