WOW! One lady owner, mint or pristine condition

! Her Dad bought it for her when she was 12 years old from a Honda Dealership in Illinois. She kept it covered indoors here in the California desert most of the years. I started servicing it for her here around 2012. In 2014 it has some minor cosmetic issues so she took it to AJ at XRminiracer.com in Whittier Ca. for a complete restoration. What an impeccable job they did on this! Atention was given to every detail from the powder coated frame to the little rubber plugs, spark plug tool and emblems. You might find another nice one but you will not find one nicer than this. The shifting is very smooth. While idling it shifts into neutral like it was new. No leaks of any kind. No rust, no exhaust smoke, no acceleration hesitation and it starts first kick every time.

When I was 16 and working at Oasis Honda in Rancho Mirage. I was drooling over a 1978 XR75.
I tried to get my Mother and my boss to co-sign for a loan but that did not work out. I have loved and owned many of these bikes ever since.
At age 62 I still love riding and wrenching on old Honda's like this. Its in my blood for sure!
I take great pride in what I do and am thrilled to offer this gem and put a smile on your face!
As shown in the last picture the clear title is new because she lost the original. It comes with the shop manual and the California off highway sticker which is good through June 30 2025.

Title and Registration:

The clear title is shown in the last picture.
The registration is current through 06/30/2025

If you are in California then we will collect the DMV transfer and new title fee of $15.00.

I will also collect the tax of approximately 7.75% depending on your city rate plus a documentation processing charge of $70.00.
I am licensed and bonded with the California DMV.

My buyers (you) never pay DMV registration penalties.

I will give you a temporary registration permit on the spot and your new registration and title will come to you in the mail.

If you are outside of California and you ship by common carrier then you will pay only the purchase price and I will hand you or mail you the title. I must have a copy of the shipping contract from the driver when picked up or a bill of lading.

Without proof of shipment via common carrier I would still need to collect the 7.75% sales tax

Shipping:
If you are less than 150 miles away then I can offer delivery for a fee on a case by case basis if paid in advance.

My customers have used many different competitively priced door to door shipping services. No crating ever needed.

A simple Google search for "motorcycle shipping" will bring up lots of options. Depending on the size and distance

I am here to assist. If you are out of state then please let your shipper know that we will need a Bill Of Lading when picked up.

Payment:
We prefer that you come test ride before leaving a deposit but if you feel confident enough then you can leave a $200.00 non refundable deposit via credit card to hold your bike for up to 7 days.

Once paid in full you can leave it here fully insured for up to 30 days at no cost. This will give you plenty of time to arrange shipping or pick up.

We do not accept credit card payment for the balance as the fees are too high.
You can do a bank wire transfer; cash in person or even a check. The check must take its 10 full days to clear my account before you take delivery.

Thank you
