This brings back wonderful memories for so may of us baby boomers including myself. I learned how to shift and ride on a 1972 Honda SL 70 and I have owned a few of these CT70 Mini Trail bikes. I have been right here in this same location as a full time hands on Motorcycle Shop owner and mechanic since 1982. I have never seen one this nice and this one runs better than new.
It starts first kick every time, idles smooth even when cold and takes off with quick throttle response even when cold!
I weigh 155 pounds and quickly got it up to 39 miles per hour on flat ground!
These normally in perfect stock condition do not accelerate this quick. Normally these take a long time to warm up.
Jeff at MiniGunz.com knows what he is doing!

This is a second owner 1970 Honda CT 70 Trail in fantastic condition! Holly's father bought this for her in 1975 when she was 10 years old.
She put most of the 1,411 miles on it. Obviously it has been stored most years.
She spent over $4,000.00 on the restoration. The summer of 2015 She had it picked up and completely and professionally restored in Ontario Ca. by one of the best little old Honda Pros in the world AKA Jeff at MiniGunz.com

In December 2025 I did a professional storage revival for her at the cost of $688..88 not counting the pick up or consignment charges.
We removed the fuel tank, replaced the fuel hoses with genuine honda hose and installed in line fuel filters. We added clean ethanol free gas to the tank, cleaned out and adjusted the carburetor, checked the valve adjustment, cleaned and adjusted the ignition points and set the timing and replaced the speedometer. The original Speedo glass was broken so we replaced it with a new aftermarket unit that looks exactly like the original and reads in MPH.
