1998 Triumph 900 Trophy Sport Touring

with very low miles. $2900.00

This is a second owner, 900cc 3 cylinder with a 6 speed transmission.

It is lots of  fun with very low miles and in very solid

mechanical condition other than the clock.

Only 8,527 actual miles! It's overall condition and recent service makes this a very practical and affordable bike for commuting or even your cross country summer adventure!

The Michelin RoadSmart 5 tires are new.

The chain and sprockets are new.

The carburetors have been rebuilt and it runs fantastic!

It is a California carbureted 3 cylinder so it does take about 2 minutes to fully warm up.

There are no leaks of any kind. The engine sounds and performs fantastic

as you would expect for a bike with under 10k miles.

It does have some cosmetic issues that you might expect for a

for a bike that is over 26 years old.

Please look at the pictures for some of the cosmetic flaws.

The worst is the front fender with a small part broke off.

I did not even notice it until I got up close. The seat will need a cover. Overall it looks good and the paint is original. The mufflers are original and in very nice condition. The turn signals are aftermarket.

I find no rust anywhere.

The phone holder works well.

If taken care of It will not depreciate.

I don't think it has any collector value yet but It is very likely to just go up in value from here.

These vintage carbureted bikes in nice condition like this are getting harder to find.

Please look at the many pictures and where I have pointed out

the cosmetic issues.

We start it up daily and enjoy riding it in and out of the shop.

Please watch the video, see the  pictures and discover more about us.

Please feel confident before you make the commitment to buy.

I have sold thousands of motorcycles from this same location since 1976.

Thanks for taking the time to share in the fun, pride and adventure we find on and off road.

I have been hands on right here in this same location full time with employees since 1982.

We service everything we sell.

The clear title is shown in the last picture.

The registration is in dealer inventory or planned non operation.

If you are in California then we will collect the DMV transfer and new title fee of $187.00

I will also collect the tax of approximately 7.75% depending on your city rate plus a documentation processing charge of $70.00.

I am licensed and bonded with the California DMV.

My buyers (you) never pay DMV registration penalties.

I will give you a temporary registration permit on the spot and your new registration and title will come to you in the mail.

If you are outside of California and you ship by common carrier then you will pay only the purchase price and I will hand you or mail you the title. I must have a copy of the shipping contract from the driver when picked up or a bill of lading.

Without proof of shipment via common carrier I would still need to collect the 7.75% sales tax

Shipping:

If you are less than 150 miles away then I can offer delivery for a fee on a case by case basis if paid in advance.

My customers have used many different competitively priced door to door shipping services. No crating ever needed.

A simple Google search for "motorcycle shipping" will bring up lots of options. Depending on the size and distance

I am here to assist. If you are out of state then please let your shipper know that we will need a Bill Of Lading when picked up.

Financing and payment:

We prefer that you come test ride before leaving a deposit but if you feel confident enough then you can leave a 10% deposit via credit card to hold your bike for up to 7 days.

Once paid in full you can leave it here fully insured for up to 30 days at no cost. This will give you plenty of time to arrange shipping or pick up.

We do not accept credit card payment for the balance as the fees are too high.

You can do a bank wire transfer; cash in person or even a check. The check must take its 10 full days to clear my account before you take delivery.
